Control cabs

The control cab is an element of the exterior front of the rolling stock (electric trains, diesel locomotives, electric locomotives) and also serves to accommodate the driver’s team. Inside the cabin there are tools and equipment needed for rolling stock control. The outer part of the operator's control cab provides the functions of the front fairing, decorative element of the exterior and passive safety elements. The cab is made comfortable for staff and meets the requirements of safe operation.
The design of cabs designed and produced at the S&P association "RIST " is a mask of outer cowl made of fiberglass and mounted on a metal welded frame. This technical solution ensures a relative ease in installation, durability and lack of corrosive wear, excellent maintainability, high resistance to external loads, impact resistance at a lower dead weight, lower thermal conductivity (compared with the make of the metal).
